private house - sutton coldfield
architecture:nw was originally approached by the client in 2020 after they had reviewed appropriate practices to approach using the Houzz website. Several options for a replacement ground floor extension were reviewed with the clients including adding to and keeping the existing extension, and replacing the side store/garage with side extensions. The preferred solution pulled together the kitchen extension with the smaller rear living room creating an extensive living space for the growing family that directly addressed the garden. The project was prepared for planning permission in 2021, but was shelved when the clients had to relocate. The house was used as a test for lighting studies in the newly acquired Twinmotion software.
