Winner of best education building in the regional LABC 2013 awards, and finalist in the best community building. The British Heart Foundation Cardiovascular Research Centre is a 5 storey development at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester for the University of Leicester. The facility provides world class blood and cardio vascular laboratory research with flexible office accommodation on a constrained and small central hospital site. The building was rated BREEAM Excellent. Nick was project partner and lead architect on this project further to the feasibility.
